In the following months, Claude Lenners will finish his Opera "Der Turm" (the Tower), libretto by Peter Weiss and stage manager Waut Maria Koeken. The first performance at Grand Théâtre Luxembourg is programmed at 6th and 8th octobre 2011. Jean Deroyer will conduct the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Further on, Claude Lenners is proud to respond to the request of Irvine Arditti to compose a string quartet.
The date of 1st performance will be in the next future.
His piano music project "In a Wilderness of Mirrors" for keyboard(s) and live electronics is also to be concluded next.
His collaboration with Ensemble 2E2M - conducted by Pierre Roullier - will lead in 2012 to the first performance of Monotaurus (for sax / 1988), an orchestrated version of the former solo piece, dedicated to saxophone player Pierre-Stéphane Meugé.
